Try to IMPROVE upon or annotate the curated list of AWESOME Bash scripts and resources. … this might be about pruning, since AWESOME lists have a tendency to become lowest common denominator listings of everything in that portion of the kitchen sink.

In addition to the bash list and using shell-explain as you work through suggested bash scripts, you should read the list awesome-shell which is a curated list of awesome command-line frameworks, toolkits, guides and gizmos. You may also want to check awesome-zsh or awesome-fish.
